Odil Tutorial

Prerequisite:

The Odil software is installed under Windows and requires preliminary the installation and the activation of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio software.

Microsoft Version compatibility :

• Standard or Professional 2016, 2019 or 2021
• Microsoft 365 in "Desktop apps" mode (not in "Web apps")

For best performance in Odil, we recommend to install MS Office and MS Visio in 64 bits version (from "setup64.exe").

The installation of Odil takes place in two stages: The installation of the software itself then the installation of the standard.

Installation of Odil:

Depending on the Microsoft software version, two odil installers are available:

Case 1 : If MS Office and MS Visio are installed in 64 bits version: Odil_Phase2_OfficeX64_V1.6.0_install

or

Case 2 : If MS Office and MS Visio are installed in 32 bits version: Odil_Phase2_V1.6.0_install

Once the installation is complete, it is then necessary to retrieve and install the standard for the project
